Everything was great! The cabin was fantastic and our only regret was that we didn’t stay longer. 5 stars and will stay again!

This is a cozy and wonderful log cabin in the woods. Very picturesque. The owners keep it in immaculate condition. It's on a small private lake (only one other cabin). My wife and toddler enjoyed it very much. We will definitely stay here again.

A beautiful cabin, comfortable, and everything you need to make your stay great! The views were perfect whether inside or sitting on the spacious deck. The garage was an added bonus for easy unpacking and packing up. We had no major issues and knew if so, Lisa was just a text, call, or email away for a quick reply. The quiet and serene surroundings made this trip special to me. Would very much like to return when able.

Our family had a great time at Moose Lodge. It is a very pretty lake with a wonderful dock that we used for coffee in the morning, fishing and boating during the day and stargazing at night. The cabin was comfortably appointed and we had all the amenities of home in a very natural and serene setting. Everyone loved the comfortable furniture and awesome log beams all through the house. Very private, only two houses on this whole lake and we didn’t see anyone else all three days we were there. Day tripped to Munising, Marquette, pictures rocks, and waterfalls.

What an incredible place to stay! Absolutely beautiful quiet cabin on the lake with all the amenities you could ask for! The beautiful fireplace was used everyday and was enough to keep us warm and cozy. It was exactly what we visualized what a cabin should be like in the UP. Lisa was extremely accommodating and great to work with, right down to dry firewood stacked in the garage and ready for our use. Looking forward to next time!!

Loved the Cranberry Lake Cottage! Beautiful views of the lake with the large open windows. We relaxed as we watched the large snow flakes fall all while being warm and snug in front of the wood burning fireplace. The cabin was exceptionally clean and has well stocked supplies in the kitchen including laundry facilities if needed. Definitely would recommend for a romantic getaway or for a larger family/group as there is plenty of room.

We had a very nice vacation to the Munising area in late July 2017. This included a week stay at the Moose Lodge on Cranberry Lake. The cabin is beautiful, very modern and spacious. Was able to enjoy morning coffee on the deck overlooking Cranberry Lake. Morning temps in the mid 50's, a nice change from humidity and temps in the low 90's at home! The cabin has three bedrooms, washer & dryer, 4 TV's with DirectTV/movie channels. Modern and spacious kitchen. We went into Munising every evening for dinner. Spent the day hiking around Lake Superior or boat rides around Pictured Rocks. The cabin provides a wonderful base in which to explore the area. Thanks to Lisa for allowing us to bring our pet along, he comes on all our vacations and he enjoyed sitting out on the deck listening to the birds talk to him. Would definitely staff here again. We most definitely enjoyed our stay UP there. I’m really glad I found you !! The wife and I will be coming up in the fall sometime, maybe not this fall, but we’ll be back. Moose Lodge was exactly what i was looking for. We didn’t want to travel 700 miles to ‘set up camp’ 20 ft from a neighbor!! You were right, the fishing was fun. The eagles seem to have fished out the larger ones. But that was ok. The higher water level may be due to beaver. We did see one swimming, and heard a tail smack, around sunset several times. Did see the old beaver lodge but didn’t take the canoe deep into the swamp to hunt for a new dam being built. Bugs got a bit thick in there. But that’s all to be expected. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. And that dining table – wow ! The abundance of wildlife, fantastic sunsets, incredible scenery, the forest. I could live there! Thanks for a great week and I hope we get back up there soon. Don Leopold

Moose lodge on cranberry was absolutely perfect. We were there for a snowmobile trip at the beginning of February. We had an great time. The house (cabin), was very clean and very we appointed. The cabin had everything we needed. Thank you to Lisa and Tom at Hiawatha hideaway for a very professionally run booking process. We will see you again.

Our family of four had a fantastic time at Moose Lodge. It is the perfect place for some stress relieving family time. The cabin is beautiful, the lake with it's family of beavers, bald eagle, and breath taking scenery was just perfect. Watching the eagle swoop down and catch a fish was simply spectacular. We went fishing, sight seeing (Pictured Rocks), hiking, and kaiaking all in close proximity. A highlight was the great dinners we enjoyed at Camel Riders just a short drive from the cabin. This was truly one of the best family vacations we have taken.

Our stay at Moose Lodge was a delightful surprise. A beautifully decorated wood home on Cranberry lake, right in the center of Hiawatha National Forest. My wife and I drove up from Illinois not knowing what to expect and everything exceeded our expectations, modern and clean, plenty of room and lots to do. If you like the smell of Michigan Pine and the reflection of the evening sun setting over the water or maybe the sound of a crackling fire with a gorgeous wooded view of never-ending wild life then when you get to 894 Old Plank road, your home. Thank you so much to the Tobias family for opening up their vacation home where even though many great activities are only a short distance away, we found some of our best moments were just keeping track of that old otter as he traveled back and forth to the lake.

Our Family of 8 had a very enjoyable time at one of thee most tranquil places to relax in a very long time. It was peaceful, quiet, stunning filled fall colors and well, I would like to share HOW NICE by sharing a Gallery of Memory builders with those who may get a better view from my point of capturing it at its finest ~! Enjoy ~!

Our family of 5 absolutely LOVED Moose Lodge. To have a beautiful cabin on a private lake in the gorgeous north woods of the U.P. was a little slice of Heaven on Earth for us. The only downside was leaving. We can't wait for an opportunity to go back!

Pristine seclusion at its best. Immaculate home with a lake teeming with fish all to yourself. Complete absence of all but natural sounds, and at night, total darkness except for a star-filled sky. Everything was first-rate--not only the big things but also the little things. You will not be disappointed.

We had a wonderful week at Moose Lodge. My husband and I came up exhausted and in need of refreshment, and that is what we found. The lodge is lovely and the surroundings even more so! My dogs had a great time and we never had to worry that they would cause any problems as it is so isolated. We took lots of long hikes in beautiful places. My husband enjoyed fishing, but did not have much luck with it! Quiet times by the fire, books read and spirits refreshed!
