We can sleep 7 guests at Oak Ridge Cottage and 7 more guests at our "sister" cabin, "The Lake House", just down the road! If you have a large family and all want to stay together, both cottages will work for up to 14 guests. Please ask!
Oak Ridge Cottage, built in the early 60's, is approximately 1200 square feet, beautiful, peaceful, and on a private setting with Mirror Lake to look at all day long, you won't want to leave. The cottage is clean, has everything you need except your personal belongings and groceries, and has that Upper Peninsula Northwoods feel. The great room was added on after the original cabin was built, for more space, with comfy furniture and lots of windows looking at the lake.
Oak Ridge is such a picturesque area, rustic and woodsy, set in a forest of Oak trees, and has all the comforts of home in this beautiful cabin. Enjoy swimming with a hard sand bottom, fishing from the 50' dock with bench OR 12' fishing boat or kayaking with 2 kayaks, all included for you to enjoy nature. A large fire pit for roasting marshmallows in the evening. Lots of room for kids and adults to run around and play frisbee, tag and just be with each other.
This is a nice area for walking the 2 track roads and exploring several lakes in the area. Gorgeous in the fall!
Included: 12' fishing boat, 2 kayaks, life jackets, large anchored raft for sunning.

Fish species: Brook Trout, Brown Trout, Splake, but primarily Rainbow Trout which is stocked yearly. Fishing license is required.
The cottage is ON the Trail so bring your ATV's and ride from here! Buckhorn Restaurant is just down the road for dinner and a few drinks. be sure to visit our sister cottage, The Lake House, for your snowmobile trip!
If you are coming up to ride your horses, The Oakwood Trail system is just down the road and provides an 11-mile horseback riding trail through a variety of forest types from oak to maple to pine. The terrain is mostly flat with occasional gentle hills. Through cooperative arrangement, the route is signed and maintained by the North Coast Riding Club. Trail markers are red, and locator maps are posted at trail intersections.
