Trail Head Lodge

Located on the Trail in Christmas, Trailhead Lodge is a great place for your snowmobile getaway this winter!  The Lodge is spacious, comfortable, beautifully decorated and centrally located to all you need while you’re away from home.  There are restaurants, bars and a casino all within walking distance.  Trailhead Lodge is located on trail #419, in Christmas, only 5 miles west of Munising.  When you’re done riding for the day, we hope you will enjoy the sauna and gas fireplace to keep you warm.  The cozy kitchen has all you need for cooking in.  If you feel like a night out, Foggy’s restaurant and bar is close by and has great food!  Cable TV is provided for you as well as bath towels, all bedding, and a charcoal grill.  Four bedrooms with 1 King, 1 Queen, 3 Twins and 1 set of twin bunks; and 1-1/2 bathrooms!

 We can sleep 9 guests in beds here at Trailhead Lodge, but if you have a couple more, we can provide an inflatable mattress.  If you have a group of up to 18, you can rent Trailhead Lodge with Evergreen Cottage, which is within walking distance.

Just in Alger County alone, the groomers are out grooming over 300 miles of trails through our beautiful forests, and we receive over 230 inches of beautiful, white snow each year!  If you are interested in silent sports, we have beautifully groomed trails for skiing and snowshoeing too!  Don’t forget to check out the ice fest!

 If you are looking for a summer stay at Trailhead Lodge, Lake Superior is only ½ mile walk or bike ride away.  Bring your beach toys and hang out at the beach during the day and enjoy your evenings at the casino, watching a movie or playing a game with the kids at the Lodge.  Since the Lodge is so close too all our attractions - hiking, biking, four wheeling, water falls, boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, hunting, and much more, we hope you stay at Trailhead Lodge.
