We stayed at Baldy Lake Escape two times, once in June and again a month later in July. What a great place to relax! There is plenty to do in the area if that’s what you want. We just wanted to enjoy the quiet and relax. In June the wild flowers were in bloom, in July it was the blue berries. We fished, saw lots of wildlife, and sat on the screened in porch and relaxed. It’s very cozy! Looking forward to returning again next year!
Clean, quiet, private cabin near Munising. Don't let the rustic features of the cabin scare you away...they are not problem. Beautiful cabin and location!
The Camp at Baldy Lake was a wonderful treat! The cabin had everything in it that we needed, and the dock was perfect for reading and watching the lake. We saw bald eagles every day. Lisa is a wonderful host and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Beautiful area for watching wildlife or just looking at the colors.
We highly recommend this cabin for anyone hoping to get away, disconnect a bit, and enjoy family and nature time in a beautiful, rustic way. I wasn’t sure how we would do without screens and the usual comforts but it didn’t take long for my three children, husband and me to adapt to this more simple and peaceful pace. We enjoyed relaxing lakeside, playing games and reading on the screened porch, beautiful sunsets, fire at night, and canoes and kayaks on the lake. It was nice to have a lot of time to talk, make meals together (kitchen has everything you need), see some wildlife, and being so close to Munising lead to lots of adventurous day trips including swimming at beautiful beaches, hiking by waterfalls, biking on Grand Island, Pictured Rocks Boat cruise, and we enjoyed some great restaurants and coffee shop in town for when we needed to connect up. We look forward to coming back!

We loved the cabin on Lake Baldy. It was such a great spot on the lake and having the boats to use was so nice to enjoy the lake. It was great to unplug and enjoy family time.The setting was beautiful and we would love to come back. The owners were very helpful and easy to communicate with. An overall wonderful vacation at the cabin!

My husband and I had a lovely peaceful, quite stay at Camp Baldy. The stars were amazing- some of the best I have ever viewed. Often we saw a bald eagle perched on a dead tree on a little island. It was perfectly situated to the hiking and boat tours of the Munising area. We came back RELAXED. We loved being deep in the woods.

Love Baldy Lake Cabin. Clean and simple with fish, deer, otters, and eagles. Great place to relax with family. Thanks Tom and Lisa!
